Death

Death in all its forms

Dark as the night and still as steel

With a face on which no emotion is clasped

Disregarding race, age, gender or class

Quietly but not gently seeping life out of its victim

Serving as reminders to the sojourners of this world

Not in a nice way in the least

Yet, doing its job and scaring the world

Making some hearts yielding and expectant

Some, unyielding and recalcitrant

There is only so much death can do.

  1. A mystery we all fold our hands to watch, it's death anyway.

  2. “Still as steel"
I just might have found a line too much in this. Bravo
